The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, with well-maintained rooms and communal areas. The hotel facilities were impressive, from the charming rustic pub to the lovely conservatory for dining. The free parking provided convenience and ease of access for guests. The transportation options were convenient, with easy access to the city via bus.
Nothing to complain about at all.

The food at Laird And Dog Inn was fantastic, especially the Tempura Chicken starter and the freshly cooked breakfast in the lovely conservatory. The room had a comfy bed and a great shower. The property has character as an old Inn in a quiet area. The location is very convenient, with a bus stop right outside and a bus every 10 minutes to Edinburgh city center.
Despite some minor issues like a small and high-mounted TV, a small and cramped toilet, and some light fittings not working, the overall experience at Laird And Dog Inn was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the property provided great value compared to city center properties in Edinburgh.

This hotel provides excellent value for money. The prices are reasonable and the attention to detail is impressive. The location is perfect, away from the busy city centre but still easily accessible. The staff are friendly and always happy to assist in arranging a taxi back to the pub. The rooms are well-equipped with basic amenities and the thin curtains create a cozy ambiance. I also appreciate that breakfast is included in the room rate and they offer a delicious vegetarian option.
All was fine, nothing to complain about.

I had a wonderful stay in a lovely Conservatory, giving me a great view of the very pretty surrounding area. The room was comfortable, with a special requirement of having a table for my medical equipment, which was fulfilled perfectly. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always helpful, going the extra mile to ensure my satisfaction. The breakfast options were delicious, and the well-stocked bar provided a relaxed atmosphere. Plus, the location was convenient, right in the center of Edinburgh.
The noise from outside and the lack of double glazing made for a less peaceful night's sleep.
